Just minutes east of Ajijic, only one-half block from the bypass to Guadalajara. This quaint village has a nice mixture of new, renovated and everything in between homes, nestled along its cobblestone streets. The zocalo (main square) across from the village church is the focal point for meeting your neighbors, friends and shopping. One of the major shopping areas at Lakeside on the Ajijic-Chapala highway.

Wal-Mart is within walking distance. Across from Wal-Mart a new mall will open shortly with an adjoining Cineplex. In fact, with all the amenities available in and around the village, including buses, you don’t even need a car. One of the newest improvements in the village, and one of great civic pride, is the beginning of a malecon, a boardwalk, with a beach, palapas and basketball court. This is one of a number of malecons that dot the north shore of Lake Chapala. The area is popular with families who come and picnic under the palapas.
